Experience the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai tribe on this immersive village tour. Located just outside the popular safari routes, this tour offers a rare opportunity to learn about the traditional Maasai way of life, their customs, and their unique connection with nature.
Your journey begins with a scenic drive from Moshi or Arusha through the vast landscapes of the Northern Circuit. As you approach the village, you will be greeted by the iconic sight of Maasai men and women dressed in their brightly colored shukas, welcoming you to their community.
During the tour, you’ll get a chance to engage in interactive sessions where Maasai warriors demonstrate traditional dances, crafting techniques, and the unique "jumping dance" that symbolizes their strength. You’ll also learn about their fascinating cattle-herding practices, medicinal knowledge, and the Maasai’s historical significance in Tanzania.
Your Maasai Village tour begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Moshi or Arusha at around 8:00 am. After a scenic drive, you will arrive at the Maasai village, where you will be warmly welcomed by the Maasai community. The tour includes learning about their traditional practices, witnessing a lively dance performance, and getting an insight into their daily lives.
You will have plenty of time to interact with the villagers, ask questions, and take photos. After your tour, we will return to Moshi or Arusha in the late afternoon.

Two days covers one park properly with an overnight at a lodge or camp in between, giving you both an afternoon and morning game drive rather than a single pass through.
Explore two of Tanzania’s famous national parks with Kilima Go Trekking over three days. These packages includes multiple game drives, a chance to see the Big Five, and comfortable accommodations, providing the perfect balance between adventure and relaxation.
Four days gives you a real circuit instead of a single rushed park visit — typically Tarangire or Lake Manyara combined with Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater, with two to three full park days.
Five days is our most popular northern-circuit length, typically covering three parks with no single day feeling rushed — enough time for the Serengeti's scale and the Ngorongoro Crater's density of wildlife.
Our longest standard circuit covers Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater with no rushed transfer days, leaving real time at each park for game drives rather than just driving between them.
