3-Day Tanzania Safari Packages

Proper Game Drives, Two Overnights

3-Day Tanzania Safari Packages 2026

Who Is This For?

First-time Tanzania visitors with limited time, travelers combining safari with Kilimanjaro or Zanzibar, or anyone wanting more than a quick taste without committing to a full week.

What Will You See?

Two or three parks covered in three days — typically Tarangire or Lake Manyara combined with Serengeti or Ngorongoro Crater. Two nights in the parks give you both afternoon arrival drives and full early morning game drives.

When to Go?

June–October for dry season concentration, July–August for migration crossings in the Serengeti, January–March for calving season. All 3-day itineraries are available year-round.

Where?

Tanzania's northern circuit from Arusha. Parks include Tarangire (2hr), Lake Manyara (2.5hr), Ngorongoro Crater (3hr), and Serengeti (5–6hr). The Serengeti is accessible but requires efficient routing.

Why This Length?

Three days is the meaningful minimum for a multi-park experience. You get a full early morning drive — the peak wildlife activity window — on at least two of your three mornings rather than just one.

How It Works

Day 1: Arusha → Park 1 (afternoon drive). Day 2: Full day game drives. Day 3: Park 2 descent or game drive → return to Arusha. Private 4×4, English guide, all meals and park fees included.

Accommodation Options

Budget: Basic tented camps or public campsites inside parks — same wildlife access, very basic facilities.
Mid-Range: Comfortable lodges with en-suite bathrooms, restaurant meals, and pool access at most properties.
Luxury: Premium lodges and tented camps with private decks, full-service dining, and concession access.
Three days is enough time to properly cover one or two parks rather than rushing through several. The packages below combine Tarangire's elephant herds and baobabs, Lake Manyara's tree-climbing lions, Ngorongoro Crater's dense wildlife concentration, or a focused Serengeti visit — pick based on which landscape interests you most.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Park entrance fees, a private 4x4 safari vehicle with pop-up roof, an English-speaking driver-guide, accommodation for the nights specified, and all meals during the safari. International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, tips, and personal expenses are excluded.

Budget safaris use mobile tented camps — you sleep in a tent with a camp bed, shared ablutions, and meals cooked by the camp chef. Lodge safaris use permanent buildings with en-suite bathrooms and restaurant service. The parks, game drives, and guide are identical; only the overnight experience differs.

Match your days to the parks you want to cover without feeling rushed. One park can be done in 1-2 days. Two or three parks need 4-6 days. The full northern circuit (Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire, and Lake Manyara) needs 5-8 days to cover properly.

Yes, this is very common. A typical Tanzania trip combines safari, a Kilimanjaro climb, and a Zanzibar beach stay into one 10-14 day itinerary. We handle all the logistics and sequencing so flights and transfers connect properly.

June-October (dry season) concentrates wildlife near water and provides the clearest game viewing. January-March is excellent for the Serengeti calving season. The green season (November-May) has fewer visitors, lower prices, and lush scenery, though wildlife is more spread out.
